CalPERS long-term care coverage helps participants pay for the cost of care when they need assistance with the activities of daily living. This is an optional, employee-paid, benefit.

CalPERS has temporarily suspended open enrollment for the Long-Term Care Program due to current uncertainty in the long-term care market. Therefore, until further notice, we are no longer accepting new applications for coverage.

AgeAssured Aging in Place Program

CalPERS launched an Aging in Place Program, AgeAssured, administered by Assured Allies in May 2024. This innovative program is for our policyholders aged 75 and older and not yet on claim. Participation is voluntary and is offered at no cost. For more information, visit www.assured.care.
