Online Wellness Resources offers a flexible way to improve health and wellness — on your own terms. The content library has a variety of physical, emotional, social, financial health, and clinical materials consisting of numerous articles and videos that relate to healthy weight, improving your diet, stress management, tobacco cessation, and more. Examples of resources include health articles, trackers, health videos, and health challenges.

The RealAge Test provides members with a personalized report of behavioral and medical health risks. Immediately after taking the online RealAge Test, participants will receive a summary report and customized action plan.

The Start Smart for Baby program is available to all eligible Health Net members. The program’s mission is to help members manage their health during pregnancy and is designed to provide education and support to its participants. Unwinding is a mindfulness program designed to manage stress and build resilience in the workplace and at home, while also improving sleep, mental health, and quality of life. Developed by psychiatrist and neuroscientist Jud Brewer, M.D., Ph.D., and the Behavioral Health team at Sharecare, Unwinding offers on-demand stress reduction tools to help you deal with stress throughout the day. Through the app, you can improve sleep, access breathing exercises, follow guided meditations, watch high-end relaxation video content, attend live virtual events, and more.

Eat Right Now by Sharecare offers members an evidence-based virtual program designed to help members create healthy habits that last. Eat Right Now has three program tracks. When members complete a brief assessment, they will be placed in one of three program tracks that will best support their health. All tracks include daily guided lessons, mindfulness exercises, craving tools, community support, and live weekly calls with a behavior change expert. Each track focuses on diabetes prevention, weight loss, and mindful eating.

Diabetes Prevention1

The Diabetes Prevention program (DPP) track is an online program that connects science and technology with real human support to inspire long-term healthy habits. This program is approved by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and has been shown to help people lose weight, keep it off, and help reduce their risk of type 2 diabetes. The goal of the DPP is to achieve a 5% to 7% sustainable weight loss (which studies have shown to reduce risk of diabetes), regularly complete 150 minutes of weekly physical activity, and achieve a 0.2% reduction in HbA1c. The Weight Loss program track is an online program that provides methods and tools for effective and sustainable weight loss. Members work with a personal coach, have access to live weekly calls, and receive a free smart scale to track daily weigh-ins. Members also have a chance to earn an activity tracker after completing specific milestones.

Mindful Eating

With help from videos and exercises, members will learn to listen to their body’s hunger signals so they can differentiate between real hunger and emotional cravings. This progressive 28-day program lets members reshape how they eat in about 10 minutes a day. Through video, audio, and animated lessons, clinically validated exercises, and on-demand tools, members learn how to identify, work with, and eliminate their eating triggers.

The Health Coaching Program offers one-on-one telephonic health coaching and resources to provide additional support to members. A personal health coach helps with short- and long-term goal setting and achievement for lasting results. The program includes trackers and easy tools to use in the behavior change process. Personalized health coaching is available for weight loss, healthy eating, stress management, exercise, and tobacco cessation.
