Holiday Office Closure
All CalPERS offices will be closed on March 31 in observance of Farmworkers Day.
CalPERS retirees receive a pension for life. CalPERS is also the health benefits officer for those eligible and selecting health benefits upon retirement. Eligible retirees can also receive a cost-of-living adjustment. After you retire, you may return to permanent, part- or full-time employment for a CalPERS employer and we can assist to make sure you’re working lawfully and don’t lose your pension.
